Beginning Your Journey with Aspen Center

Choosing an early childhood community is an important decision. Here you’ll find information about enrollment, tuition, and what daily life at Aspen Center can look like for your family.

Our Enrollment Process

How Our Enrollment Works

Submit an Application

A completed application is required for each child and should be submitted with the applicable fee. Families eligible for CCAP do not pay the application fee. Aspen Center currently accepts Boulder County and Weld County CCAP.

Finding the Right Fit

Enrollment openings vary throughout the year based on classroom availability and group size. Placement may consider your child’s age, schedule, and alignment between family and school expectations for teaching and learning.

What Happens Next

Once your completed application and fee are received, a member of the Aspen Center team will follow up regarding availability or openings. Our team is best able to discuss enrollment options after reviewing submitted applications.

Open Application Pool

Aspen Center uses an open application pool as spaces become available year-round, rather than a traditional waiting list. Families interested in openings are invited to submit a completed application with the required fee.

Tuition Support

Tuition Support for
Families at Aspen Center

We believe access matters. Aspen Center offers several tuition support pathways that help more families become part of our school community, including income-based tuition, Colorado UPK, and CCAP assistance.

Child Care Assistance (CCAP)

CCCAP is a Colorado program that helps eligible families access child care while working, going to school, or participating in job training. Families who qualify receive support toward tuition, making high-quality early childhood education more accessible.

Income-Based Tuition

Aspen Center offers income-based tuition to help make high-quality early childhood education accessible to more families. Our sliding scale reflects a commitment to a diverse and inclusive community, with support based on income and family circumstances. Because funding is limited, assistance is not guaranteed for all who qualify, and families reapply annually to continue receiving support.

Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK)

Colorado Universal Preschool offers tuition support for children in the year before kindergarten, helping families access high-quality preschool. If your child is age eligible, families may complete the Colorado UPK application and select Aspen Center as their first choice.

Next Steps at Aspen Center

Taking the Next Step

Enrollment begins with getting to know your child, your family, and how we can best support your care needs. To be considered for enrollment, families are invited to submit a completed application along with the application fee.

Visiting Aspen Center

Schedule a Tour

Tours are an important part of getting to know Aspen Center. After your application and fee are received, the next step is scheduling a visit to explore our classrooms, meet our team, and experience our school community.

"The cornerstone of our experience, based on practice, theory and research, is the image of the child as rich, strong, powerful. The emphasis is placed on seeing the children as unique subjects with rights rather than simply needs. They have potential, plasticity, the desire to grow, curiosity, the ability to be amazed, and the sired to relate to other people and to communicate."
